Metal faced door within a 55mm deep picture frame

APPLICATION
This unit's frame is designed to be fitted within plasterboard lined applications for metal track systems, timber stud/joists or concrete blockwork.
DESCRIPTION
This access panel has a metal faced door and is supplied with a picture frame. The panel has a continuous piano hinge system which is welded to the door tray and then the door is bolted to the panel frame. The panel is fitted with a 3-point locking system as standard.
MATERIALS AND FINISHES
Intrepid access panels are manufactured from 1.2mm thick Zinc plated mild steel (BS EN 10025) for maximum rigidity. Stainless steel finishes are also available. The Access panels are painted in a polyester powder coating (BS EN 12206-1:2004) - White - RAL 9010 textured, as standard. This paint texture blends well with your plastered painted walls and can be overpainted with ease. Other colours are available to match your finished area.

Note: Single doors available up to 900mm width, then manufactured into double or triple door units.
RATING
Tested to BS EN 1026:2000 for air leakage and classified as Class 2.

INSTALLATION
Intrepid supply installation instructions in the form of labels on the rear of the doors. The label will have the relevant certification standard that it complies to clearly marked. As part of our quality system, you will also find on the label, the identity mark of the quality inspector, who has done the final checks on your product.
