If you are a Customer

We collect or use the following information to provide services and goods, including delivery:-

  • Addresses
  • Purchase or account history
  • Payment details (including bank information for transfers and direct debits)
  • Credit reference information
  • Account information

Our lawful basis for collecting this information is as follows:-

  • Contract: information must be collected in order that we can meet our contractual obligations to you
  • Legitimate Interest: to allow us to perform credit checks
  • Legal: to comply with our statutory obligations to HMRC

This information will be retained for a maximum of 7 years.

If you are a Supplier

We collect or use the following information to purchase goods and services:-

  • Names and contact details
  • Addresses
  • Purchase or account history
  • Payment details (including bank information for transfers and direct debits)
  • Account information
  • insurance details
  • Risk Assessments & Method Statements

Our lawful basis for collecting this information is as follows:-

  • Contract: information must be collected in order that we can meet our contractual obligations to you
  • Legal: to comply with our statutory obligations to HMRC or to the HSE.

This information will be retained for a maximum of 7 years.

If you are an Employee (or former employee)

If you are an employee or former employee at Intrepid and would like to understand more about how your data is processed, then please refer to the Employee Privacy Handbook. If you are a prospective Employee

If you have applied for a role with Intrepid, we need to process certain information about you. We only ask for details that will genuinely help us to consider you for a role, such as:-

  • Name
  • Contact details including telephone numbers, email address and postal address
  • CV / Work History
  • Work preferences including role, salary
  • Publicly available information, or information provided by you, in relation to professional history, educational background, employment history, skills and experience, professional certifications and affiliations, educational and professional qualifications

We will store your personal data in our HR files for 3 months from the date of your initial application/submission. After the 3 months has expired, your data will be deleted from our records except in circumstances where you are part of a live application process, or you have asked to be considered for future opportunities at Intrepid. In these instances, the retention period will be extended by a further 3 months. You have the right to delete your personal information at any time.

Other data that we may capture

CCTV

To reduce the risk of crime at our offices and to support accident and incident investigation, we use CCTV. This data is stored for 30 days unless the information is extracted as part of an investigation. We have a legal obligation for collecting or using personal information to prevent crime, prosecute offenders or defend against legal action.

Health & Safety

We operate in a busy manufacturing environment and your safety is of paramount concern. With your consent, when visiting or working onsite, we will ask you if there are any adjustments that we need to make to protect your health and safety. For example, this may be adjustments to enable exit from the building in the event of an emergency, or allergies that may require timely intervention from our Health & Safety representative. This information will be held for the duration of your visit if you are a visitor or for the duration of your employment if you are an employee.

Who we share information with

We may disclose your information to third parties we engage to enable us to provide services to you. We use third parties to help us host our business applications, communicate with customers, power our emails, support our business office activities as we believe they are the best in their field at what they do. Sharing information outside the UK
