DESCRIPTION

This tile ready panel is fire rated up to 120 minutes and can be manufactured to order in any size from 300mm x 300mm up to 2100mm x 900mm. The panel operates on heavy duty bearing hinges and can be overclad with tile/stone up to a maximum build up of 22mm including adhesive.. The panel is fitted with a 3 point lock as standard, but other locking options are available.

A cement-based adhesive must be used to maintain fire certification.

MATERIALS AND FINISHES

The frame is manufactured from 1.5mm thick Zinc plated mild steel (BS EN 10025) for maximum rigidity and the door is manufactured from 1.2mm thick Zinc plated mild steel. Stainless steel finishes are also available. The access panels are painted in a polyester powder coating (BS EN 12206-1:2004) - White - RAL 9010 textured, as standard. Other paint finishes are available

Note: The largest door in this range would be 2100mm x 900m.

A specification form would be sent to the client to confirm tile, adhesive and grout thickness to ensure correct design for your situation.

RATING

  • Tested to BS EN 1634-1:2014+A1 2018 and is fire rated for up to 120 minutes when mounted vertically in rigid and standard flexible constructions.
  • Tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2 for acoustic performance, giving an Rw30dB sound reduction rating.
  • Not suitable for use in ceilings.

INSTALLATION

Intrepid supply installation instructions in the form of labels on the rear of the doors. The label will have the relevant certification standard that it complies to clearly marked. As part of our quality system, you will also find on the label, the identity mark of the quality inspector, who has done the final checks on your product.
