APPLICATION
This budget panel is to suit a tiled area and blends in seamlessly with the surroundings.
DESCRIPTION
The tile ready access panel is best suited when they are manufactured to suit the tiles and grout being used in the situation. If the client advises the tiles size, tile thickness, adhesive thickness and grout width the Access panels can seamlessly blend with the rest of the wall. If the wall is already tiled, we can manufacture the access panel to suit the structural opening. The panel door is located into the frame and when unlocked can just be lifted away completely. The panel is fitted with a budget lock as standard, but other locking options are available.
MATERIALS AND FINISHES
Intrepid access panels are manufactured from 1.2mm thick Zinc plated mild steel (BS EN 10025) for maximum rigidity. Stainless steel finishes are also available. The Access panels are painted in a polyester powder coating (BS EN 12206-1:2004) - White - RAL 9010 textured, as standard. This paint texture blends well with your plastered painted walls and can be overpainted with ease. Other colours are available to match your finished area.
TILED PANEL SIZING
To calculate door size, the example below assumes 9 total tiles (3 x 3) at 150mm x 150mm with 3mm grout width.
All measurements shown in the above table are in mm.
Note: The largest door in this range would be 600mm x 600.
A specification form would be sent to the client to confirm tile, adhesive and grout thickness to ensure correct design for your situation.

INSTALLATION
The door should be removed from the frame by unlocking the door and with the quick release sliding bolts the door will drop away. Fix your frame into the aperture ensuring the frame is square upon fixing, packers maybe required. Re-fit the door into the frame, check that the gaps are as advised at the time of order. The panel is now ready to tile as per the specification provided.
